Why We Do It
Access to services, benefits and discounts is migrating to mobile apps — and leaving older adults behind. Lack of Mobile Digital Literacy (MDL) among older adults has risen to a crisis level, resulting in social isolation, limited access to essential services, and reduced quality of life. EngAging Seniors believes in the power of community to change lives. We create and maintain vital social connections that empower, build confidence, and keep seniors engaged. Learn More

How We Do It
Our OWL Everyday Technology classes are taught by our Chief of Enthusiasm and Optimism, Nicole Christ, in two-to-one or small class environments. Participants get hands-on practice with their own phones by applying easy-to-understand concepts guided by their peers in a safe, judgement-free setting. In fact, many of our Senior Guides are graduates of OWL Everyday Technology themselves! All materials and modules are designed specifically to meet the learning styles and preferences of older adults. We also offer opportunities to connect with like-minded peers through fun Experiences at local attractions, music venues, card games and crafting sessions, volunteer events, and more!
Who We Serve
EngAging Seniors reaches out to older adults in Greater Cincinnati, OH to bridge the digital and social divide through education and experiences specifically designed for Older, Wiser, Learners (OWL). There are nearly 700K active "OWLs" in this region who would welcome the opportunity to learn, laugh, and grow with their peers in the right environment.
